What has happened?
I turn on the televison and the first thing I see on the news is a teenager lying in their own crimson blood on the street. I flip the next channel and I see another story about a person being shot over someone of the opposite gender.
Is this what the world has come to?
Is this what our free world has come to?
Being afraid to do a simple task like take out or garbage or walking your dog.
I’m tired of watching people fight over simple material pleasures. In life, you’re supposed to go out and make something of yourself. There are people who have faught for our freedom and yet we take it for granted every day. If only we could stop and think about all of the people who can’t have the simple things in life that we dont care much about. For example, in some places in the world, people are not allowed to go to school and get an education. Not because they are living in poverty, all though sometimes that is the case, but because they are seen as unimportant enough to recieve an education.
Any day you could be dead. Why not take the advantage be happy that everyday you get to see the welcoming rays of sunlight and the glistening moon at night.
